A late treasurer’s report for January
but one worth waiting for!
This year we are doing things slightly differently. The money we raise is still going to local rescues. We are splitting it 6 ways each month and either paying towards vets costs for the 5 rescues we have chosen or buying food/accessories for them. We are using the 6th element to either help with our own neutering and microchipping scheme or a one off payment to a worthwhile cause we vote for that month.
So for January we have paid £100 to:
Purrs Cat Rescue – Walsall vet bill
The Garden Sanctuary vet bill
TeamCatRescue vet bill
Hannah’s Guinea Pig Sanctuary food and bedding
Central England Reptile Rescue & Bird of Prey Sanctuary food
And
My Beautiful Pride X have received 4 new scratchposts for the new pens
In addition, we have distributed:
£5,490 worth of food
£1,010 worth of other items
Including 7 lots of bedding, 6 big loads of litter, towels, newspapers, carriers, a cage, scratchposts, toys, accessories and bric a brac to lots of local rescues.
That means a total of £7,100 worth of help to local rescues in January!!
